Jack D Ammon, Sr,81, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville.  

 

Jack was born in Wellsville, OH on July 28, 1940 the son of the late Roy and Pearl (Stiner) Ammon.  

 

Jack attended Wellsville School and lived in the area his entire life.  Jack was a hard working man and held various jobs throughout his life such as working on barges and auto body and mechanic work

 

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his children: Patty (Dale) Hudson, of East Liverpool, Nancy Ammon, of East Liverpool, Mickey (Kenny) Falkner, of Mingo Junction, Lauren Ammon, of Columbiana, Jack (Kathy) Ammon, of Wellsville, Howard (Sissy) Ammon, of Newell, Randy Ammon, of Mingo Junction, and Michael (Tyra) Ammon, of Salineville.  He also leaves behind his siblings: Ralph “Butch” (Debbie) Ammon, of Wellsville, and Donna (Cletus) Glazebrook, as well as 21 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

 

Visitation will take place on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 11AM-1PM at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists- MacLean Chapel, on Riverside Avenue, Wellsville.  

 

Jack will be laid to rest in Spring Hill Cemetery.

I know You are in heaven with mommy this is probably one of the best mothers days for her, give her a hug and kiss from us.. tomorrow is going to be one of the hardest days in my life. i will have to say goodbye to you. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH DADDY. One day we will all be together again.
