Paul, Andy, Craig and entire family: I met and worked with Iva at East Liverpool Extended Care. She was such a loving and kind lady. She was a wonderful nurse who cared deeply for her patients. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Cousins, Our condolences to you all. When I look back at my childhood, one thing I always remember is trips to Paul and Iva's to pick berries. Always fond memories and remember thinking of Iva more as another Aunt and Craig and Andy as brothers rather than distant cousins. Our prayers go out to our entire Monte family. Bobby Olashuj

What a wonderful legacy Iva Monte leaves behind for her family to treasure in their hearts. I am deeply impressed by what I learned about Iva from Pastor Jim’s “Words of Hope and Consolation.” First, she inspires me to share the scripture daily with my children, as she did before Andy & Craig would leave for school. I too will ask my children to name one thing they are thankful for each day. Second, she inspires me to be the kind of grandma she was, bringing a toy or game along when she came to visit, and sharing her time with them generously. Finally, I love how she lived the gospel. She truly exemplified each and every one of the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, long-suffering, and self-control. I created this in the Pages app which is not transferring well to this type of webpage. I really wanted it to be beautiful. Love, Michele
