Huemy “Lisa” Nguyen Hughes, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at home with her daughter by her side.

She was born January 10, 1941 in Vietnam. Huemy was a Catholic by faith and ran her own restaurant for many years in Wheeling, “Lisa’s Family Restaurant”.

Huemy is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Hughes; her son, Danny Hughes; and a daughter, Sue Hughes Hendey.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Hughes; and two grandsons, Richard Hughes-Smith and Seth Hendey.

Family and friends will be received at the CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV, Sunday, April 11, 2021, from 3 pm until time of memorial service at 5 pm, with Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating.
