Howard Roy Rine, Sr., 94 of Rayland, OH, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at his home.

     Howard was born February 18, 1927, in Woodland, WV, a son of the late Roy and Belvia (Yoho) Rine.  He was a retired welder for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp.; and a U.S. Army World War II veteran.
     In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his wife, Bernedda May (Gray) Rine; and several siblings.  He is survived by his two sons, Howard R. (Terri) Rine of Jewett, OH and David A. Rine of Rayland, OH; a brother, Gary Rine; two sisters, Marianne Whitlatch and Iris Lucas; a granddaughter, Christina Rine; and a great-grandson, Caden Byers.
     Friends will be received at the CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, Friday, February 26, 2021, from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm, with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville, with full military honors.
