Harry Stanley Zelkowski, 71, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Peterson Hospital, Wheeling.
He was born on August 9, 1948 in Wheeling, son of the late Harry & Isabelle Kwiatkowski-Zelkowski-Krizan.
Harry was a 1966 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School, a 1981 graduate of Wheeling College with a Bachelors Degree in Business, member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Wheeling, lifetime member of the P.A.P Club and American Legion Post #46 and a US Army Vietnan Veteran
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Miklas) Zelkowski, grandson, Jeremey Gramlich Jr.and sister-in-law, Lois Kwiatkowski.
He is survived by his three daughters, also known as Harry’s Angels, Stephanie Zelkowski, Sabrina (Jeremy) Gramlich and Stacie Zelkowski all of Wheeling; two brothers, Raymond Kwiatkowski of Colerain, OH and Daniel Zelkowski and his partner, Sue Freeman both of Shadyside, OH; sister, Deborah Tuttle of Wheeling; Grandchildren, Skyler Marks, Josephine Dutton and Arianna Gramlich; great grandson, Blayze Connor; best friend, Sister Jeanne and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 4-8pm at Care Funeral & Cremation Service, 3828 Jacob Street, Wheeling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 10am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Msgr. Peterson serving as Celebrant.
Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, with the Moundsville Honor Guard performing military graveside rites.
