Gifts & Memorial Donations

Harold “Harry” Maylone, 79, of East Liverpool passed Sunday, December 26th, 2021 after a lengthy battle with his health.

Born January, 19th, 1942, Harry was the son of the late Harold Maylone Sr. and Margaret Madden. He grew up and lived in the area for his entire life, attending high school at East Liverpool and graduating in 1962. Shortly after, he began his lifelong career at Sterling China in Wellsville, where he worked for over 30 years. In 1966, he married the love of his life, Margaret, whom he spent 39 years with until her passing in 2006.

Harry was an avid fan of football, and would often be found every Saturday watching college games, and then rooting for the Patriots on Sundays. When he wasn’t watching football, he was volunteering with the East Liverpool Potters football team, which was something he did for over three decades.

Harry loved his family, and was known for his kindness, never turning down an opportunity to lend a hand or help someone. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Maylone, and son, Thomas Maylone.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Troy), Quinn of East Liverpool, and his brother James (Carol) Maylone, of Manchester, New Hampshire. He is also survived by his grandchildren Thomas Maylone Jr., of East Liverpool, Jonathan Charles Maylone of Wellsville, and Troy and Joseph Quinn of East Liverpool.

The family has entrusted Harry’s care to the Martin Chapel of CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta, Ohio. Friends and family may view this obituary or send condolences by visiting carechapel.com.
