Frank J. Ryder III, 75, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
He was born July 20, 1943, a son of the late Frank J. and Martha E. (Lauck) Ryder Jr. Frank was a member of First Christian Church in Moundsville. He enjoyed listening to music and DJing local events.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Ryder (2014); two sisters, Joan Serra and June Ann Kuri and two uncles, Gary Milligan and Larry Milligan.
Frank is survived by his two children, Janet (Bruce) Dunn of Shadyside, OH and James Ryder of Triadelphia, WV; seven siblings, Janie Givens, Sandra Riffle, Marlene Ryder, Irene McCarthy, Kathy (Joby) Thomas, Robert (Barbara) Ryder and John (Pam) Ryder all of Wheeling; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5-8 pm and Friday, September 7, from 9 am until time of service at 10 am, at Care Funeral and Cremation, 3828 Jacob St., Wheeling. Interment will be held at Halcyon Hills Memorial Garden.
