Frances Mary Smith

 Frances Mary Smith, 79, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Carriage Inn of Steubenville.  Fran was born on November 8, 1943, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Andrew Cavaciuti and Anna (Blendowski) Cavaciuti.

 Fran was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  Fran was a member of the Eagles in Wellsville, loved spending time with family, playing bingo, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fran worked for Kent State, doing janitorial services, and tended bar for the Abdella’s at the City Grill.

Fran is survived by: her brother, Andrew; daughter, Dawn Rosato; son, Fredrick (Kelly) Rosato;  son-in-law, Daniel Howell; 5 stepsons, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, with a 4th on the way.  Fran is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; also the staff at Carriage Inn of Steubenville, who had become her second family.   Special thanks to Kim Blake and Melanie Coburn for their exceptional care and compassion.

Fran was greeted in heaven by her four sisters, one brother, her loving husband, Clyde (Sonny) Smith, her parents, Andrew and Anna Cavaciuti, and her daughter, Christine Howell.
