Evelyn June Starkey

Evelyn June Starkey. Age 86, of East Liverpool passed away at East Liverpool City Hospital on Friday. August 3, 2018.

She was born in East Liverpool on June 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Foley) Fenton. Mrs Starkey had lived her entire life in this area, was employed in the Laundry Department at East Liverpool City Hospital and a graduate of East Liverpool High School.

Survivors include, her husband, Leroy Starkey of East Liverpool; two sons: Paul Starkey and his wife Diane of Calcutta and Donald Starkey and his wife Mary of W. Leechburg, Pa; two daughters: Peggy Lee Gough of East Liverpool and Debbie Miller and her husband, Ron, of East Liverpool; one brother: Ron Ammon of Augusta, Georgia; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Starkey was preceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl Travis and a son in law; three sisters: Mary Ammon, Anna Mae Fenton, and Marion Iwater.

Services will be held at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral and Cremation Service at 509 Riverside Ave. in Wellsville on Friday, August 10, 2018, at 1:30 PM with Pastor Pat Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery in East Liverpool.

Friends may call on Thursday at the MacLean Chapel from 5 to 8 PM and up until time of services on Friday.
