Etta Mae Bolon, born on January 23, 1934, in Wheeling, West Virginia, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2023, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. Etta was 89 years old at the time of her passing.

 

Etta led a fulfilling life, dedicating herself to her work and family. She spent many years working at the TA Travel Center in Triadelphia, West Virginia, where she showcased her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

 

Etta was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Guy and Marie Stamm, as well as her brothers, John and Guy Jr. Stamm. She also mourned the loss of her first husband, Charles Braun, in 1991, and her second husband, Harry Bolon, in 2000.

 

Etta will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her surviving family and friends. She leaves behind her daughters, Pamela (Dennis) McNinch of Moundsville, WV, and Brenda (Bob) Kohler of McMechen, WV. Etta was also a cherished grandmother to three adoring grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

In honoring Etta’s life, a private memorial gathering will be held by the family at a future date and time to be determined. During this intimate gathering, loved ones will come together to share memories, offer support, and celebrate the beautiful life Etta lived.

 

Etta Mae Bolon will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to inspire and remind us of the importance of hard work, dedication, and the love she so wholeheartedly bestowed upon her family. May she rest in eternal peace.
