Ernest H. Allen, SR., 67 of McMechen, WV passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 13, 2011.
He was born August 10, 1943 in Pennsylvania the son of the late Ernest Boyd Allen and Sarah Elizabeth
(Simpson)-Allen.
He was a Christian by faith and a Carpenter by trade.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, David B. Allen and two sisters, Luella Crupe and Juanita Crupe.
Ernest is survived by his daughter, Leslie (Rick) Davis of Wheeling, WV; step-son, Michael Carr of McMechen, WV; special friend, Jan Johnson of McMechen, WV; three brothers, Edward (Letha) Allen of Florida, Robert (Mary) Allen of Washington, PA and Charles (Diane) Allen of Taylorstown, PA; five sisters, Mary (George) Lemley of Washington, PA, Paulette (Ralph) Ritter of PA, Judy (Bill) Kusch of PA, Marlyn
(Laverne) Phillips of PA and Nancy Jako of West Alexander, PA; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Jordan and Rikki; several other children and grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
