    John Leet says:
I have many good memories of my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bob through the years going back to when I was a young boy in the late 1940s. We miss them at the McDowell family reunions.

    Linda Leet Harmon says:
I will always remember the friendliness and many kindnesses of Aunt Ruth and Uncle Bob. They are special people, and I especially appreciated the significance of Elda Ruth's name: Elda for Elda Sprunger (first mother to the McDowell family) and Ruth for Ruth Leet (the 2nd mother of the McDowell family). May God soon ease the pain of Elda Ruth's absence. Praying for all your family.

    Barbara McDowell Whitt says:
My Aunt Ruthie was a wonderful mother to you - Paul, John, Mark, and Stephen. The love that Ruth and her late husband, Robert Lorah, showed you, their sons, was given back to Ruth and Bob by the four of you. I've always known they were a very spiritual mother and father because of the Biblical names they gave you. May God's love be with you as you adjust to life without her.

    Dr. Richard Vrable says:
I started teaching with the Lorah's in 1972. Being a new teacher, I needed support. Both your dad and mom were my role models. Your mom was the glue that held family, and special ed. at LaCroft together. She was a super person always leading by example. I am sure she is in heaven looking down on us. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
