Edward Paul Ballog 84, of Strongsville, Ohio, formerly of St.Clairsville, OH passed away on July 22, 2019.
Edward was born April 29, 1935, in St.Clairsville, Ohio a son of the late Edward G. and Laura A. Mazgaj Ballog.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Albert Zusack.

He was retired from Ford Motor Company and was a veteran serving two years with an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army.

Edward is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda J. (Tomer) Ballog; along with two children; Toni A. Hegyi and Travis E. (Julie Atkins) Ballog; five grandchildren, Jared Hegyi, Olivia Porter, Chloe Porter, Laura Ballog, and Toni Ballog; and many loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

A special thank you to the people at Altenheim Skilled Nursing and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care and support during his final days.

Visitation will be from 11 am until time of Prayer service at 1 pm on Monday, July 29, 2019, at the Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville, OH with Fr Thomas Chillog officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Belmont County Veterans Association will conduct graveside Military Honors.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.TMCFunding.com.
