Earl Taylor Jr., 64 of East Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 9, 2017 at East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born in East Liverpool November 17, 1952 a son to the late Earl Taylor Sr. and Delores Louise (Hayes) Taylor.  Living his entire life in this area he was a 1971 graduate of East Liverpool High School.  Earl worked as the Street Department Supervisor for the City of East Liverpool and enjoyed wood working and making furniture. He also served in the United States Navy.

He is survived at home by his wife Mae (Pipkin) Taylor; three sisters: Whitney Taylor-Washington of East Liverpool, Vernie Williams , and Barbara Jean,  Harshaw both of Springfield OH; three brothers: Guy Taylor Sr. of Midland, Nelson Taylor and his wife Sandra of Ambridge and Hayes Taylor and his wife Marva of Columbus; ten nieces and nephews: Marissa Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Gabriel Taylor, Carmen Taylor, Stephen Taylor, Maxwell Taylor Washington, Brett Taylor, Delvin Harshaw, Cameee’ Beyars and Chanda Melville; three sisters-in-laws: Lola Pipkin, Nancy Pipkin and Kathleen Pipkin; four brothers-in-law: Charles Pipkin, Bryant Pipkin, Danny Pipkin and his companion Minnie and James Pipkin; a God daughter: Adena Bourdeau of Boardman, as well as many cousins and close devoted friends.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Hall Taylor and a nephew: Guy Taylor Jr.

Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Saturday January 14, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Ernest Peachey of the Second Baptist Church officiating.

Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta funeral home on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.

    Tookie TA what can I say, I love you my brother and your family, You are my best friend and you were my Best Man at my wedding, the grief I feel is very deep I can't explain how much Love I feel right now for you, only God knows the time and place for all of us. I will never forget all out adventures in East Liverpool and all the fun we had walking up down Pennsylvania Avenue, going to How's Shack after school on Erie street, hitch hiking up and down the Valley, Jiving on everybody I miss you already my brother.
