Dorothy J. Lucas

LUCAS, Dorothy J., 81, of Moundsville, W.Va. died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born January, 12, 1935 in Moundsville, a daughter of the late Florence Bumgardner.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one sister, Goldie Hill, and one brother, Delbert Lashare.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Lucas; three children, Ron (Carol) Harrison of Wheeling, Tim Harrison of Moundsville, and Janet (Buddy) Hill of Moundsville; three step children, Deena White of Shadyside, Ohio, Jerry Lucas Jr. of Moundsville, and Rusty Lucas of Moundsville; six grandchildren; several step grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 11 am until time of service at 1 pm at the CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, with Rev. Ron Wilfong officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
