Dorothy Green

Dorothy Helen Green, age 83, passed away  suddenly on Monday, May 18, 2020 at East Liverpool City Hospital.  

Dorothy was born on January 28, 1937 in East Liverpool, OH where she spent her entire life.  The daughter of the late John Randolph and Dorothy Moore Randolph, she attended school in East Liverpool.  Dorothy spent over twenty years as a nurse’s aide at the former Ross Nursing Home in East Liverpool.   Dorothy was continually active during her life.  In her younger years she was a member of the Moose Lodge #122 in East Liverpool.  Dorothy was most happy when she was spending time with her family.  She looked forward to the yard sales that her family held often and could be found excitedly looking through all the items before they could be placed for sale.  She could always be found with her family and extended family.  She attended many events hosted by her sons-in-law family and enjoyed the company of everyone she knew.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Dorothy “Dottie” Maple and her husband, Colin of East Liverpool and her son, Nelson “Corky” Green also of East Liverpool; two sisters, Mary Waggner (Willie), of FL, Jean Ann Mick (Tim) of Yorkville, OH and one brother, Bernie Randolph (Alice) of West Point.   She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren.  Dorothy will also be missed by her faithful dogs Oreo and Moe.  Dorothy is predeceased by four siblings: Gary, Dave, Janet, and Olive.

Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home at 7PM on Friday, May 22, 2020.  Burial will take place in Shadow Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation (with proper social distancing) will take place 2 hours before the service.
