Donald “Shimp” Collins III, 42, of Irondale OH, died suddenly on September 12, 2019.
He was born in East Liverpool, a son of the late Donald Collins Jr. and Pamela (Saltsman) Collins and companion Dave Howell.
Having lived his entire life in the area, Donny was a graduate of Edison Local, class of 1996 and had worked in the coal mines for 16 years. He was currently working as a roof bolter for Murray Energy. He loved motorcycles, fast cars and most of all, his loving wife and family. Donny never knew a stranger.
Donny is survived by his wife Keeliy Collins whom he married September 8, 2018; a son: Issac Collins; four daughters: Riley Collins, Mae Collins, Kase Collins and Addison Porter; two brothers: Sean (Michelle) Howell of Hammondsville, Justin (Katherine) Pucci and his wife of Wellsville a step sister: Amy (Gary) Boyer of Oak Arbor; maternal grandmother: Joanne Saltsman and many more of his family blood or not.
In addition to his father, Donny was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Donald and Betty Collins Sr and his maternal grandfather Fred Saltsman.
A memorial service will be held at the Care MacLean Chapel in Wellsville on Friday September 20, 2019 at 7PM with Pastor Mark Blakley of the First Christian Church of Wellsville officiating.
The family will be present to receive friend form 1-3 and 5-7pm on Friday September 20, 2019.
