Donald Hood, 93, formerly of Wellsville died on Monday January 28, 2019 at Covington in East Palestine.
He was born on August 27, 1925 a son of the late Harry M. and Bertha (Early) Hood. Having lived his entire life in the area Donald was a laborer for the H.K. Porter Co. for 24 years, a member of Campground Community Church and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Donald is survived by a niece: Debra White; a great niece: April Baird and her husband Tracy and four great great nephews: Colton, Brady, Cory and Jonathon.
Services will be held at Care Funeral and Cremation MacLean Chapel in Wellsville on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 1 PM with Rev. Tom Adkins of Campground Community Church officiating. Friends may be received on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11AM up until the time of service at 1PM. Burial will take place in Morning View Cemetery.
