Donald Bradley Colvin, born on February 18, 1947, passed away on August 24, 2023, after a long illness. Donald was a devoted husband, caring father, and doting grandfather, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew him.

Donald was born in Glen Dale, and a lifelong resident of Moundsville, WV. In addition to serving his country in the US Navy, Don dedicated many years of his life as a US Mail Carrier, diligently serving his fellow citizens. His commitment to his work exemplified his strong work ethic and sense of duty.

Outside of his professional life, Donald found joy in pursuing his hobbies. He had a passion for golf, spending countless hours on the green perfecting his swing. He also treasured family time and made it a priority to create lasting memories with his loved ones.

As a proud Navy Veteran, Donald was a member of the American Legion Post 3, where he found camaraderie amongst fellow veterans and contributed to the community. His involvement in this organization showcased his deep patriotism and unwavering support for his country.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Imogene and Clarence Hewitt, as well as his parent-in-laws, Kenneth and Maxine Gatewood. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Pam Colvin, and their three sons: Brian (Terra), Chad (Leanne), and Joshua.

Donald’s grandchildren, Derek, Lexi, Kayleigh, Allie, Jonathan, Ethan, Alyssa, and Aliyah, brought immense joy and pride to his life. He adored every moment spent with them and took great pleasure in watching them grow and thrive.

Donald’s impact on those around him was immeasurable. He will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family. Donald’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him.

    Sorry to hear about Don. Always sad when one of the former Virginia Streeters pass away. Don was one of the older people who along with Jim Boren, John Crouch, and the late Nikki Vucelik who came to play basketball regularly in my backyard in the 60's. Hopefully those memories stuck with Don thru the years as much as they did me and others who grew up in simpler times. My thoughts and sympathy go out to all of his family and friends
