Donald M. Balser age76, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness, on April 1, 2023. He was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Walko, stepfather John Walko, and his wife Shirley Balser.  He is survived by a stepbrother John P. Walko, daughter Donna Balser of Florida, son Steven Balser of Kansas, and a stepdaughter Nora Bradley . He also has three grandchildren, Michael Zackary Balser, Steven Austin Lee Balser and Codie Lee Balser. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1966. He retired from The Newell Water Department in Newell, WV. He will be dearly missed by all his family and his many friends.
