David Joseph Michael DeCola, 68, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 with family by his side, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

He was born October 28, 1952, a son of the late Anthony and Elvira (Berardi) DeCola. Dave was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel after many years of service. He was a true family man, they were his pride and joy in life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant sister, Loretta DeCola and one grandson, Dalton Defibaugh.

David is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Margaret (Williams) DeCola; three children, Jessica DeCola and her boyfriend John Contino, Travis DeCola and his fiancée Linda Russom and Amber Defibaugh and her husband Kenny Defibaugh; two siblings, JoAnna Reed and Anthony (JoAnn) DeCola; three grandchildren, Colten Haught, Allaena Haught and Hayden Defibaugh; several nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law and their families.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 4:30 pm until time of memorial services at 5:30 pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation, 1500 Second Street.
