Daryl Ann Long-Burkey

Daryl Ann Long-Burkey who was 32 years old and a lifelong resident of Wellsville passed away unexpectedly on Thursday July 20th, 2023 at East Liverpool Hospital.

Daryl was born on September 26th, 1990 in East Liverpool. She was the daughter of Daryl Drew Long and Stephanie Ann and Gene Furbee.  She graduated from Edison Local with the Class of 2008 and resided within the Ohio Valley throughout her life.

Daryl was previously employed as a caregiver with D&D Quality Care, and was a member of the Wellsville Eagles Post 772.

Along with her parents, Daryl is survived by her three children including: Alauna Phillipson, Koletin Burkey and Tristyn Burkey, her four sisters including:  Becky Huff, Tabitha Rockhold, Jodee Long and Brittany Smith, her four brothers including: Lukas Furbee, Joseph Furbee, Travis Furbee, and Michael Long.  She is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Peggy and Jim Santimarino, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Daryl was preceded in death by  her grandparents, Robert and Joanne McCauley, her grandmother, Marilyn Furbee and two uncles, Mike McCauley and John McCauley.

Visitation will take place on Monday, July 24th, 2023 from 4PM-6PM at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, on Riverside Avenue, Wellsville.  The funeral will follow at 6PM.
