Daniel H. Brand

Daniel “Dan” Brand, 90 of East Liverpool passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
He was born in East Liverpool on August 17, 1928 a son to the late Daniel and Rose (Wright) Brand. Living his lifetime in this area, Dan worked as a Maintenance Foreman for the former Crucible Steel for 34 years before retiring in 1983. He was also the owner and operator of Dan’s Bar on 6th Street.
He is survived by a son: Danny D. Brand of East Liverpool; two daughters: Carol Kidder of East Liverpool, OH and Delores Lockhart of East Liverpool, OH; twenty-nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Cecile Brand; a brother: Sidney Brand and a sister: Rosetta Wolfe.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Masonic services will take place at 7:30 PM. Burial will take place in Columbiana County Memorial Park at a later date.
