Cynthia Louise Cusick, fondly known as Cindy, left this world on February 14, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on November 20, 1959, in Franklin, NJ, she brought love, and laughter wherever she went.

Cindy was a true homemaker, dedicating her time and energy to create a nurturing and loving environment in her own home. Crocheting was one of her beloved pastimes, where she skillfully weaved beautiful creations with her nimble fingers. She also had an unabashed love for the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll himself, Elvis Presley.

As a mother and grandmother, Cindy’s heart overflowed with love for her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Deeply devoted to her faith, Cindy found solace and joy attending the Hillview Terrace Church of Christ. She embraced her spirituality.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Frank Werman.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Louise Werman, and her adoring husband, Walter Frederick Cusick.

Cindy’s memory will forever be carried in the hearts of her seven children: David Bruce Dilts Jr., KaTeashia Crystal Dalton, Heather Marie Davis, Windy Faith Cross, Crystal Gayle Bauchman, Frederick Joseph Cusick, and James Franklin Cusick Jr. Her presence will also be deeply missed by her two brothers, Daniel and Bruce Werman, her sister Suzanne Bastian, and her best friend, Buttercup.

The love Cindy shared extended beyond her immediate family, reaching countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her compassionate nature made her a great listener, always ready to lend an ear and offer support to those in need.

Cindy’s unique spirit was truly one-of-a-kind. She embraced her individuality, loving martians and aliens, and always daring to be different. In fact, she frequently hosted Martian parties for her loved ones—an event that brought joy and laughter to all.

We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Cindy at a memorial service to be held at Care Funeral Homes, located at 1500 2nd Street, Moundsville, WV, 26041, on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Though Cindy may have left this earthly plane, her memory will continue to inspire us in the stars. Her kindness, caring nature, and an imagination that knew no bounds will forever remain etched in our hearts.
