Christopher P. “Chris” Sturm, 38, of East Liverpool, OH passed away on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Mercy Health- St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, OH following a brief illness.

Chris was born in Wetzel County, WV on February 6, 1983.  He graduated from East Liverpool Christian School with the class of 2001.  He was employed as an Installer for Comcast for the past 12 years.   Chris married the love of his life, Kristen Piatt, on April 13, 2002 and from their union three amazing children were born.

Chris loved all sports.  He was a huge WVU fan but was most happy when he was in the bleachers watching his children play football, volleyball, basketball or baseball.  He was always their biggest fan.  Chris also loved the time he spent vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family, the Williams and the Walgates.  He was most content when he was making memories with family and friends.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his beloved wife, Kristen and their three children: Micah, Abrem, and Isabella, who all survive him at home; his mother and father in law, David & Pam Williams, who loved him like a son; Brothers-in-law: Brandon (Amy) Piatt and Jeremy (Rebecca) Williams, all of East Liverpool, and several nieces and nephews.  Chris will also be greatly missed by his canine companion, Nia.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

My memory of Chris is that he was kind. And soft spoken. But he was a friend for life. I knew him in a business manner. And he put my cable box in. But I mostly knew his wife Kristin, who took care of my Mom in the nursing home. When Chris talked about Kristin, you could see,and hear the love and respect he had for her and his family. Truly a good person. (heartbreaking)
