 Christine Anne Howell, 53, of Hammondsville, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.  

   Chris was born on August 12, 1968, in Brookhaven, NY, the daughter of Fred Rosato and Fran Smith

   Chris was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.  She displayed that by spending every spare minute with her grandkids and taking care of her mother.  She will always be remembered for the time she spent with her family and friends.  She could always be found out on the boat enjoying the river with the kids, or watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.  

   Chris is survived by: her parents, Fran Smith and Fred (Candice) Rosato; her two brothers: Freddy Rosato, and Tommy Borelli; sisters: Lynette Borelli, Dawn Rosato, and Candice Rosato.  Chris also leaves behind her loving husband of 28 years, Daniel Howell; and her children:Tracy Avena, Bridget (Adam Newbold) Howell, Detrick (Natasha Rodriguez) Orrell, Jordan (Cliff) McElroy, and Ryan (Jessica) Howell; her grandchildren, whom were her pride and joy: Asia Avena, Adam Marcano, Alli Howell, Logan Howell, Parker Biddle, Landon Newbold, D’Moni Orrell, Holly Orrell, Kendall McElroy, Kenna McElroy, Peyton Howell, Milana Orrell; and great-granddaughter Zeppelin Keithley.  Chris is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.  

  Chris was greeted in heaven by: her grandparents, her stepfather, Clyde (Sonny) Smith; mother-in-law, Sarah Howell; her son, Shane Howell, and Pig Pen, her beloved dog.

   Chris worked for the Postal Service and was loved by all who knew her, she will be missed more than words can ever say.

   Visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 from 1PM-3PM and 5PM-7PM at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists- MacLean Chapel, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville.  The funeral will follow at 7PM with Mary Ann Hoobler officiating.
