Gifts & Memorial Donations

Cherrie Devyver decided to go onto her next chapter of life on January 29th 2022.  Cherrie was such a light in this sometimes-dark world.

Her soul was so full of love and always wanting to help others. You would find her up late at night watching Star Trek and wrestling. Special Olympics was a big part of her life and she loved her group of friends waiting for her at the finish line all cheering her on. Cherries’ life was so full of making things for others from scrap booking to baking cookies. D & D Industries in Boardman was where she would spend her days working with her best friend Marlena Timmerman and fellow co-workers. When she would look in the mirror she would point at her reflection and say “you got this girl !!”

Life was never about what she had or didn’t have it was about how she smiled, laughed and loved you unconditionally.  When Cherrie made a decision there was no changing her mind.  Life was meant to be lived in her eyes. Cherrie made a choice to be and Organ Donor and her gift of life has changed 4 lives to continue on their earthly journey. All though her amazing smile we can no longer see, the changes she made in many of us will live on forever.

Cherrie will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

All are welcome to celebrate Cherrie’s life on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 at the Martin Chapel of CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
