Charlotte Miller

Charlotte R. Miller, age 89, passed away on February 25, 2021, at the Hospice House in Poland following a brief illness.

Mrs. Miller was born on January 2, 1932, in Washington, Pennsylvania, and lived in this area most of her life. The daughter of the late Frederick D. and Mary Ankrom, Charlotte was a graduate of Trinity High School class of 1951. She was a homemaker and a member of the Glenmore Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her daughter Linda (Gary) Sciaretta of Enon Valley, Pennsylvania; three brothers: Fred (Mary) Ankrom of Finley, Pennsylvania, Robert (Kay) Ankrom of East Liverpool, Ohio, and Edward Ankrom of Salem, Ohio; and two grandchildren: Garrison and Samantha Sciaretta of Enon Valley, Pennsylvania. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in death is her husband Leslie Miller, whom she married on August 6, 1951; and two sisters: Arvella Prigg and Alice Wright.

In compliance with Ohio state regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, visitation with mandatory masks and proper social distancing will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1 pm-3 pm at the Martin Chapel of the Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta.  The funeral service will take place on February 28th at the funeral home at 3 pm with Pastor Tom Adkins officiating. Burial will take place at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
