Charles M. Johnson, 69, of Moundsville WV. , passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale WV.
He was born September 14, 1944 in Glen Dale, WV, son of the late William Lois and Sylvia Pearl Fletcher Johnson.
He was a retired Boilermaker with the Boilermakers Local 667 Union, member of the American Legion Post #3 of Moundsville, member of Elites Rod & Gun Club, loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and was a US Army veteran, which served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Burnside and brother, Thomas L. Johnson Sr.
Charles is survived by his life partner, Christine Ayres of Moundsville; son, Mike (Angela) McDougal of Lakeland, FL; sister, Wilma (Harold) West of Moundsville; sister-in-law, Ruth Johnson of Glen Dale, WV; two grandchildren, Mike McDougal Jr and Michela McDougal, both of Lakeland, FL;several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Joe.
In honoring Charles’s wishes, there will be no visitation and services at this time.
