Charles “Gary” Hill, 83, of Saint Clairsville, OH passed away on September 17, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on July 14, 1939 to the late Lowell and Nelle (Snively) Hill in Bellaire, OH.

Charles worked as a principal for St. Clairsville Richland School District and St. John Central High School.

Charles is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Jozwiak) Hill, two sons: Charles G. (Lori) Hill of TX, Zachary G. Hill (Heidi) of PA; brother, Robert (Barbara) Hill of CT; Three grandchildren, Nellsyn Hill, Madilyn Hill, Roxanne Hill; Brother-In-Law, David (Michalene “Mickey”) Lewis of FL, their children: Anne Lewis and Michael (Rachael) Lewis, two great nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church 212 W Main Street Saint Clairsville, OH, 43950, from 10:00 am until time of funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Central School Renovation Fund at TMCFunding.com

    Known him since grade school as gym teacher at Hilltop, and then my kids principal at St. C. and as a social friend and neighbor over the years. He kept up with every one he knew and will be missed. We all lost a good friend.
