Catherine Lichterowicz

Catherine Elizabeth Lichterowicz, 84 of Lafferty, Ohio died Tuesday February 19, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born November 20, 1934 a daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth ( Witzgall) Heller in Wheeling, WV.

Catherine graduated from Triadelphia High School, was a member of the St. Clairsville Senior Citizens and was protestant by faith.

She was the owner and operator of Filters Florist and Greenhouses for many years.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Waclaw (Walter) Lichterowicz and brothers Edgar and Charles Heller.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Ann Heller of Lafferty, OH, Douglas (Mary) Filter of Moundsville, WV, David (Diane) Filter of Las Vegas, NV.

In addition she is survived by her brothers, Richard Heller of South Carolina, Rev. Kenneth (Georgiann) Heller of Nebraska and Ralph (Pat) Heller of Shadyside, OH as well as three grandchildren, Douglas and Michael Filter, and Juliet Filter Redinger and her great-granddaughter Aubrey Ana Redinger.

Family and friends will be received at the Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists, St. Clairsville Chapel 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 on Saturday February 23, 2019 from 11 am until time of service at 2 pm with Rev. Bob Merritt officiating.

Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lafferty, OH.
