Carol Ann (Riggs) Wood, 76 of Moundsville. WV. passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at her residence.
She was born on July 4, 1946, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Richmond) Riggs.
Carol was a homemaker, a former member of Temple Baptist Church, and loved to watch her cooking shows and cook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Wood, sister, Susie Lightner, and grandson, Joseph Jackson.
Surviving is her two daughters, Tina (Joseph) Jackson of New Martinsville, WV, and Tammy (Richard) Arruda of Moundsville; 4 grandchildren, Desiree (Mark, Jr.) Preston of New Martinsville, WV, Kallie Jackson of Michigan, Vera (Greg) Holcomb of Shadyside, OH, and Johnathan Arruda of Moundsville; 4 great-grandchildren, Danika Preston, Josie Preston, Robert Holcomb, and Rebecca Holcomb and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville from 6 pm until the time of service at 8 pm.

I spent alot of time with my sister-in-law Carol growing up and will always remember how she would treat me to lunch at "Bob's Lunch " and then browsing the shop's around town but of course we always walked or had to call a taxicab from wherever we ended up that day. We had alot of great memories, she will always have a special place in my heart and missed dearly. 😥
