Carol Ann (Cooper) Higginbotham, 76, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 17, 1945 in Moundsville, daughter of the late Lester J. Cooper and Colleen (Lightner) Cooper-Koury
Carol was a homemaker who loved to play bingo and adored all animals.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Wells; sister, Susie Woods; brother, Bradley Cooper and her grandparents, Les and Ruth Cooper and grandson, Larry Dean Eddy.
Surviving are her children, Jeffrey Richmond of Moundsville, Debbie (Thomas) Markey of Moundsville and David (Nora) Richmond of Florida; three siblings, Cathy (Pat) Edwards of Moundsville, Nile Cooper of Moundsville and Crystal Mesecky of Richmond. TX; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and her cat, Murphy “Homer”.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11am until time of services at 1pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV.
