Bonar, Sarah Lynne (Cotton) 69, of Fort Pierce Florida and native of Glen Dale WV., passed away on Wednesday, December 24th with her loving family at her bedside following her valiant and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 9, 1945 in Glen Dale West Virginia a daughter to the late Gerald Cotton and Sarah Marie Cotton (Barger).

In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her twin sister Lauren Laming (Cotton) earlier this year.

She is survived at home by her loving companion of 35 years, James Murray Grimm of Fort Pierce and her beloved Sheltie dog, Scooter; Two daughters, Tracy Coup and husband Lynn of Morgantown WV., and Marcy Wong of Port Saint Lucie.  One step-daughter, Julie Morris and Husband Jerry of Haymarket Va.; One son, Brian James Bonar and wife Sandy of Port Saint Lucie Fl. One step-son, Jimmy Grimm and wife Robin of Beech Bottom WV.; One sister, Lee Dalek and husband Richard of Texas.; One brother, Daryl Cotton and wife Terri of Wheeling WV. Seven grandchildren, Brendan Cline and wife Adriana, Sarah “Grace” Cline, Stephanie Reed and Husband Brian, Stephen Coup and wife Whitney all of Morgantown WV.; Damian Justin “DJ” Proano and Tyler Gibran Bonar both of Port Saint Lucie Fl.; Amy Beach and husband Randy of Beaufort SC.   Three great-grandchildren,  Kenley Lynn Coup, Audrey and Owen Beach,; A very special “sister” friend, in Carol Guzek of Glen Dale WV. Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & many other dear friends.

Lynne was an Office Manager and bookkeeper. She worked in many aspects of the medical clerical management field for several practices and disciplines through the years. Most recently, she retired as the office manager for Dr. Robert Gehrig in Fort Pierce Fl.

She loved to laugh, loved Elvis, a good game of Scrabble and all forms of engaging conversation. She was an avid Steelers fan. She loved deeply, and treasured her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Hers was a proud and determined force of personality. Her wit and charm touched all those who were a part of her professional and personal life. She will be sadly missed by all those who love her.

Friends will be received on Friday,  January 2, 2015 from Noon- 3 PM and 5 – 8 PM at the CARE Chapel 1500 Second Street Moundsville.  Services for Lynne will be held on Saturday January 3, 2014 at 11AM at the CARE Chapel with Pastor Scott Haynes of the Ash Avenue Church of God. Entombment to follow in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum Moundsville.
