Blane Alex Rich, 63, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.

He was born in Glen Dale, WV on September 29, 1959, the son of the late Alex and Naomi (Harlan) Rich. Blane attended Cedar Avenue Church of Christ. He worked as a photographer for numerous years, a pilot and later retired from Bayer Chemical as a technician. Blane was an avid scuba diver and guitar player.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandson, Tucker Yates.

Blane is survived by his three kids, Justin (Dalis) Rich of Wheeling, WV, Rebecca (Michael) Yates of Parkville, MD and Alexa (Tyler) Foreman of Uniontown, PA; two sisters, Janet (Mike) West of New Martinsville, WV and Linda (Dr. David) Neil of Dallas, TX; three granddaughters, Scarlett, Farrah and Avery; several nieces and a nephew.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial gathering, Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 12 pm until time of services at 3 pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation, 1500 Second St., Moundsville.
