Betty Ann Ayers, 77, of East Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Betty was born in East Liverpool on June 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Donald and Mae (Haught) Green. She resided in the area her entire life
Betty graduated from East Liverpool High School and went on to further her education at the Ohio Valley Business College. She was employed by Beaver Local Board of Education serving as Assistant Treasurer for 37 years.
Betty is survived by: her husband, Douglas Ayers, whom she married on June 12, 1987. They spent the next 34 years lovingly married. She also leaves behind her children: Charles Baker, of Wellsville, OH, and Mary Ellen Triner, of Bellefontaine, OH; two stepsons, Carl (Joleen) Ayers, of Sacramento, CA, and David Ayers, of Baden, PA; six grandchildren: Stephanie Triner, of East Liverpool, Zachary Triner, of East Liverpool, Jackie Triner, of Weirton,WV Evan Ayers, of Sacramento, CA, Kyle Ayers, of Sacramento, CA, and Alex Ayers, of Sacramento, CA; four great grandchildren: Kalilah Triner, of East Liverpool, Jaxson Triner, of East Liverpool, Spencer Vranesevich, of Weirton, and Kinslee Triner, of East Liverpool; her brother, Richard (A. Elaine) Green, of East Liverpool; and her former mother and father-in-law whom she lovingly referred to as her “in-loves” Raymond and Mabel Baker. Betty will also be greatly missed by her “fur babies” Turbo and Little Ben.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 1PM on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Northside Community Church, 702 Orchard Grove, East Liverpool, with Pastor Larry Rose officiating.
