Beth Marks-Conlon,57, of Lisbon died at home on January 11, 2019. Beth was born in Rochester PA on May 22, 1961 a daughter of the late Denver Marks Sr. and Mary (Robinson) Marks. Having lived most of her life in the area she was a graduate of Beaver Local High School Class of 1979 and held a degree as a pharmacy tech from the Ross Medical Education Center. She had worked as a training coordinator for B and T Trucking for 17 years.
Beth was very dedicated to the Scouting Program. She served many different positions at both the district and council level.
Beth is survived by her son: Andy Marks and his wife Lana of Calcutta; two brothers: Denver Marks Jr. (Stacey) of Salem and Dan Marks (Peggy) of Hampton VA; three sisters: Patricia Brand (Mike) of Valdese NC; Laurie Marks (John) of Negely and Bonnie Kirkpatrick (Terry) of New Cumberland and 1 granddaughter and her spunky sidekick: Mia Marks.
In addition to her parents Beth was preceded in death by her husband Fred Conlon who died in 2010.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home Calcutta Chapel on Wednesday January 16, 2018 at 11 AM with Pastor Dirk Hall officiating.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday January 15, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

    Met Beth years ago. She even hired my daughter Mandy as as dispatcher at B&T. Beth was in BPW with me. A good friend as well as a great mother, grandmother,aunt etc. Damn I will miss her.

    Andy, your mom was a wonderful person. She and I would talk everytime she came to Walmart to shop. I hadn't seen her in a few months so I didn't know she was sick but I am truly heartsick to hear of her passing. She was a truly wonderful person.
