Bessie E. Carosiello, 85 of Wellsville, OH, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Calcutta Health Care following a lengthy illness.
She was born in East Liverpool, OH on June 1, 1932 a daughter of the late Homer and Vivian (Coleman) Bailey. Living her life in this area, she worked at Isleys, Mageehens, Piatts Market, and the Tasty Freeze, was a 1950 graduate of Wellsville High School, a member of the Ohio State Auxillary, the Eagles Hall of Fame, a member of the Wellsville Alumni she chaired 2 cookbooks and was a member of the VFW Post #5647 of Wellsville.
She is survived by four grandchildren: Nick Carosiello, Tony Carosiello, Michelle Carosiello all of Wellsville and Taylor Carosiello of Cadiz; a nephew Mike Carosiello of Palm Beach Florida and several other nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Attilio A. “Telu” Carosiello whom she married September 23, 1950; a son: John Carosiello; three brothers: Arlan, James and Alex Bailey and four sisters: Sara Hickman, Beatrice Chamberlain, Jeanette Takas and Marie Dunham
Services will be held at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12 PM. Interment to follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville funeral home on Monday from 10 AM up until the time of service at 12PM.
