Barbara “Carol” Clegg

Clegg, Barbara “Carol”, 72 of Moundsville passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

She was born May 30, 1940 in New Martinsville, WV.  The daughter of the late Carl and Violet Amos Stackpole.

Carol was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Moundsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Parker; brother-in-law, Bob Parker; and son-in-law, Donnie Hess.

Survivors include Carol’s four children, Alisha (Rob) Utt of New Martinsville, Larry (Suzanne) Potts of Alabama, Heather (Rob) Blake and Hilary Hess both of Moundsville; a brother, Bobby (Patti) Stackpole of Vienna, WV; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 12 PM until the time of service at 1 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Moundsville with Father Bruce Bevens officiating.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Moundview Resident Council, 22 Floral Avenue, Moundsville or to the Trinity Episcopal Church at 1 Oak Avenue, Moundsville, WV 26041.
