Andrew A. “Andy” Petrick, passed away on May 9 2020, at East Liverpool City Hospital following a brief illness.

Andy was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, on June 19, 1953 and had lived his entire life in this area. The son of the late Andrew Petrick and Sadie (Ashley) Petrick, he was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, class of 1971. He then went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  He worked as the Automotive Department Manager at the Calcutta Wal-Mart since it’s opening in 1991. He was Christian by faith and had attended Campground Community Church.

Survivors include his wife: Robbie (Mackall) Petrick whom he married November 28 1975, a brother: Steve (Betty) Petrick of Noblesville, Indiana, his mother-in-law: Vivian (Bibb) Mackall of Wellsville, Ohio,  sisters-in-law: Nancy Germanovich of Lisbon, Ohio, and Cheryl (John) Bosworth of East Liverpool, brother in law: Binks (Carrie Ann) Mackall of Wellsville, Ohio,  several nieces and nephews as well as several cats that he loved and spoiled daily.

In compliance with Ohio State Regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, a private family service will be held at MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists in Wellsville on Thursday, May 14th with Father Bernard Gaeta officiating. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery.  To view the live stream of the service, please click here.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Andy Petrick Memorial Scholarship fund through the East Liverpool Alumni.
