    Dory Lucas says:
Dear Gary, I am do sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Time will help, but it will never completely heal your loss. It's always harder to lose that second parent, as you do become closer to him or her over time. I felt the same when I lost my dad after my mother had gone years before. God bless you and may your father rest in peace.

    Rick Johnson says:
One of the best remembered days of my work as Adjutant at the American Legion Post 159 was meeting with “Al D”, as we called him, when I had the pleasure of visiting his home to get his signature to transfer his membership to our post. Al D was a gracious gentlemen who never spoke a bad thing about anyone and was always more than willing to help with any cause at the post. When Al D would take on helping raise funds you’d better have at least a quarter in your pocket because he wasn’t taking no for an answer. He especially enjoyed our visits with the Legion members at the Belmont Correction Institute. Al D’s smiling face and genuine laugh will be missed for a long long time. Rest in peace my friend.
