Anna Mae (Morehouse) South

Anna Mae (Morehouse) South, 81, of Dilles Bottom, OH, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus, Bellaire, OH.

She was born January 24, 1935 in Newark, OH, daughter of the late Preston Hylan and Novella Marie (Seleski) Morehouse.

Anna was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Moundsville, member of the Marshall County Senior Center and a homemaker. She loved to work jigsaw puzzles and sew.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her 1^st husband, John Ramser Sr; daughter, Cynthia Lynne Norman; brother, Hylan “Sonny” Arthur Morehouse and her sister, Bonnie Marie Justice.

Anna is survived by her three children, Donna (Joseph) Gates of El Paso, TX, Ellen (David) Brown of Moundsville, WV and John Ramser Jr. of Wheeling, WV; brother, Donald (Mary) Morehouse of Spotsylvania, VA; special friend Harold Smith of Dilles Bottom, OH; eleven grandchildren, Alexandra De Hart of Parker, CO, Joseph Gates Jr. El Paso, TX, David (Jeanette) Brown Jr. of Wheeling, WV, Caitlyn Brown of Wheeling, Cassidy Brown of Moundsville, Desiree Ramser,  John III, Brandon Burns, Jessica Ramser, Michael Ramser and Liliana Ramser and five great grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received, Monday, January 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at  CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville WV where funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10am with Pastor Dennis Mehaffie officiating.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
