Kye Elmer Baker, 80, of Moundsville, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Marshall County on July 7, 1936 a son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Baker. He was a member of the Moundsville Eagles and American Legion. Kye retired from Dr. Fred Seco and was formerly employed by Fostoria Glass and Columbia Gas Company.

He is survived by his son, David (Ann) Baker of NC; daughters, Betty (Ollie) Huggins and Judy Glover; a brother Delbert (Karen) Baker; sisters, Eileen (Richard) Tyler and Mary (Jim) Cook all of Moundsville and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Ethel Goddard Baker; second wife, Francis Anna Kutek Baker; 2 daughters, Brenda Robinson and Linda Wood; 2 sisters, Joann Baker and Helen Marling and a step son Ron Burkey.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Care Funeral Home, 1500 Second Ave, Moundsville, Wednesday, August 31st at 10 am with Pastor Bob Muster officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
