Together Again
Helen Grace (Burge) Huggins, 84, of Cameron, WV died Thursday, May 26, 2016 peacefully at home.
She was born October 15, 1931 in Marshall County, WV a daughter of the late John Clifford and Florence Beryl (Conner) Burge.
She was previously the Director of Rose-Mar Instructor in Cosmetology in Mesa, AZ, and a property manager for Uzell & Associates and Lincoln Property Co. in Dallas, TX where she managed apartments for both companies. She was also a former employee of the U.S. Stamping in Moundsville, WV and Cameron Continuous Care Center in Cameron, WV where she worked as a dietary aide.
Helen loved to spend time with family and especially with her sisters going to yard sales, flea markets and Good Will.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Huggins; three brothers, Clifford Ferl, Clyde Berl, and John Wilburt; two sisters, Lila Kaye and Sharon Faye; two bother-in-laws, Clarence “Booty” Miller and Bob Padgett; a nephew, Clyde “Squeak” Burge; a niece, Shirley Helms; nephew-in-law, Bob Helms; and a great-nephew, Renden Lemasters.
Helen is survived by a step-daughter, Rubena Jane (Daun) Suarez of Tucson, AZ.; two step-granddaughters, Joette (Scott) White of Dallas, TX and Anita (Terry) Dolliver of San Antonio, TX; four step-grandchildren, Judah and Jonah White and Tyler and Rachael Dolliver; three sisters, Irene Dale Miller of Moundsville, WV, Suzie Padgett of Westland, MI and Mylene Collins of Jerusalem, OH; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Prior to moving in with her niece, Sharon (Tim) Brown, she resided at the Golden Towers where her niece, Cathy Whitehead (Caleb aka Lovey) resided and often enjoyed their time together. Special Thanks to a loving friend, Kathy and also a friend and caregiver, Barb Hixenbaugh. Helen will be dearly missed by her loving pets, Carmella Jo and Diesel McCauley, whom were by her side and also “Cowher” whom resides in Michigan but she loved very much.
